Delete your account

From inside the app

The quickest way, and it takes effect immediately:

1. Open Mealish and tap the account button at the top of the Recipes screen.
2. Choose Your plan.
3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.

By email

If you can no longer open the app, email support@mealish.net from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my Mealish account”. We delete it within 30 days and reply once it is done.

What gets deleted

• Your account — your email address and the Google or Apple identity linked to it. Deleted immediately and permanently.
• Family sharing — you are removed from any shared household, and recipes you shared into it are withdrawn.

What stays

• Recipes saved on your phone. Mealish keeps your recipes on your device, not on our servers, so deleting your account does not erase your cookbook. To remove those too, uninstall the app or clear its storage.
• Your subscription. Mealish Pro is billed by Google Play or the App Store, not by us, so deleting your Mealish account does not cancel it. Cancel it in your store account’s subscription settings.
